Weddings at The Milner York: A Victorian Dream

We're so glad we chose Principal York as our wedding venue! Everything surpassed our expectations. The hotel staff and events team were outstanding.

The food was tasty and the portions were generous which left our guests satisfied. The hotel premises are absolutely beautiful and made our wedding photos extra special.

A huge thank you especially to Emily who has been really helpful from the beginning 'till the end. She truly understood our vision for the wedding and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Also to Steve and Danny who were so helpful on the day and night of the wedding (and looked after our suppliers too!)

James and I would just like to say thank you so so much, the day went absolutely amazingly. You all went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I don’t think it could have been better if we tried! You all made us feel so reassured and were so accommodating. The team did an absolutely fantastic job mainly Lucy, Hannah & Steve! & you of course keeping in touch all the way through and putting up with all the last-minute requests!! You and your team are an absolute credit to that hotel. We can’t thank you enough!

We would firstly just like to say a huge thank you to Emily and all the staff at The Principal. Throughout the whole experience, we have been treated incredibly. The food was excellent and other than ourselves, the timing was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. All the front-of-house staff were incredibly helpful and feedback from our guests said that they were very efficient. We are so grateful for the hospitality we received and although we won't be getting married again, we will be back a lot in the future.
