Opposite York Station, The Swollen Gambler serves wines, craft beers and classic cocktails, along with a bar menu that highlights local produce.

Our Victorian pub takes its name from George Hudson, the visionary railway pioneer whose bold ambitions transformed York into a key railway hub in the 1800s. Known for his opulent lifestyle, Hudson’s legacy lives on in the charm of our establishment.
